Regal Lands and Kota Samarahan Municipal Council Collaborate to Develop “Kampung Cantik”
Representing Regal Lands, a subsidiary of Regal International Group Ltd. (“RIG” or together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), Mr Dominic Su, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Regal Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dato Peter Minos, Chairman of Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (“KSMC“), on 9 December 2016, at Regal’s Kuching corporate office, to develop and realize the operation of “Kampung Cantik” in Sarawak.
“We are excited to work together with Regal to carry out ‘Kampung Cantik’ in Sarawak. This project opens up economic opportunities for local communities whilst preserving our local culture and heritage,” remarked Dato Peter Minos.
During a dialogue session on “Kampung Cantik” collaboration.
Consistent with the Group’s business strategies to increase market share in Sarawak properties market by heightening new demands and broadening customer base, “Kampung Cantik” is one of the Regal’s carefully planned complementary business diversification rolled out for sustainable growth. “Kampung Cantik” was conceived on China Ego Group’s concept of 1+4+N, where “1” refers to online portal platform that will generate “4” other concepts – Village product experience center, Village education hub, Cultural exhibition center and Village incubator. Together, “1” +”4” will create the “N” effect, or the ever ongoing ripple impacts.
“Moving forward with the expertise of a local council, we are positive that our collaboration with KSMC will advance the implementation of ‘Kampung Cantik’ in Sarawak, which in turn will boost the promotion of Eco-tourism and the enhancement of native properties value,” concluded Mr Dominic Su.
